About Us
Ispat English Medium School, the only ICSE Institution under SAIL, was started in 1961 with a modest strength of 27 students, 5 teachers and 2 classrooms. It was like a dream come true. A long awaited and desired need for an English Medium School at Rourkela as fulfilled. From such humble beginning, the school grew in stature and strength under the able guidance of the Principals and the faculty members to be reckoned today as one of the reputed institutions of the state with about 1400 students(boys and girls) hailing from different social background and 75 capable teachers busy shaping the destiny of the students.
In 1982, the institution embarked upon a new venture and started a Junior College(ISC + 2) with Science Stream. School has celebrated its ” GOLDEN JUBILEE” in the year 2011.

To roll out young men and women with all good qualities of leadership, sense of discipline and responsibility, initiative and self reliance.
